When we get something wrong we fix the article, note the change on it, and list it here.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the article link and what is wrong. Include the source that shows the correct figure, date, or name if you have one. Reports are read by the publisher. Factual errors in dollar amounts, dates, awardees, contract vehicles, or set-aside type are corrected as soon as they are confirmed against the primary source; the article gets an "Updated" note and an entry below.

  Marine Corps Locks In Up to $404 Million Sole-Source Kongsberg Framework for NMESIS Launchers Through 2034

  An earlier version of this article said the sole-source award closes the NMESIS launcher and weapon control market to competitors for the life of the framework. Defence Blog reports only that this award was not competed under a sole-source exception, and the sources do not say whether future orders will be competed; the article now says that.

What does not count as a correction

Awards get protested, modified, and clarified after the first announcement. When later events change the picture we publish a follow-up article rather than rewriting the original; the original stays as the record of what was announced. Typo and formatting fixes that do not change a fact are made without a log entry.
